Some imagine and try to paint a false picture that our fourth infallible Imam - Imam Sajjad (A) - simply shed tears and performed worship of Allah while sitting in the corner of his house or masjid. He had no socio-political involvement.
The reality is contrary to that! Imam Sajjad (A) actively performed his responsibilities as an Infallible Imam and was hence poisoned by the enemies of Islam. Just like other Imams, he became a serious threat for the oppressors and they had no other option but to poison and martyr our Imam.

And in the end, when the enemy had no other option, they poisoned Imam Sajjad (A) and so after a life full of achievements and full of struggle, this great Imam (A) ascended to the divine realm. This is a summary of Imam Sajjad’s (A) life.
