🎦 What Should The Position of Azadari Be In One's Life? | Ayatollah Misbah-Yazdi
What is the fundamental explanation of mourning?
And where do the actions of human being originate from?
What role do feelings and emotions play when it comes to people's lives?
And what is a natural division of feelings and emotions?
What should people do when a person is afflicted with a calamity?
And who all is effected, when one is afflicted with a calamity?
Finally, can a whole society be afflicted with the sorrow of a calamity or the positive effects of giving condolences and providing sympathy?
The late Ayatollah Misbah-Yazdi (R) provides us with a profound crash-course on the basics of Azadari, the mourning over Imam Husayn (A), his family members, and his companions who were martyred on the 10th of Muharram, in the year 61 A.H.

🎦 What Is The Islamic Criterion For Happiness or Grief? | Ayatollah Misbah-Yazdi
What is the criterion for whether a happiness is good or bad, or on the other hand, whether a sadness and grief is good or bad?
And when it comes to sadness in the general culture, what is their criterion for a good kind of grief?
Yet, what is the criterion in Islam and what is a preliminary aspect that Islam takes into consideration?
And finally, what can be said about a sadness and grief that has so many positive effects that they are uncountable, even if one were to count them their whole lifetime?

🎦 What A Separation! | Latmiyya
Salutations upon Husayn, upon Ali ibn Husayn, upon the children of Husayn, and upon the companions of Husayn.
As the day of Arbaeen is upon us, we realize more than ever how we were blessed to be able to go to the land of Karbala on the Arbaeen of Imam Husayn (A) so easily.
For me, there is nowhere which is like the Haram of Imam Husayn (A).
How I miss you, O' Husayn!
And this separation from you is killing me, O' Husayn!
Muhammad Hussain Poyanfar recites a beautiful Latmiyya.

📸 "Some people should not put make-up on the face of America and erase the ugly parts, the savagery, and the violence from its face. They must not describe America as a friendly and philanthropic government to our people. Even if these people make an effort to do this, their efforts will be in vain. Notice what America has done throughout the world, [just] over the last 70, 80 years."
