A Maryland woman has been arrested and charged with felony child abuse after allegedly assaulting a boy on a flight from Orlando to Hagerstown on Memorial Day. According to police reports, the incident occurred after the child called her "fat" and "Miss Piggy." Witnesses stated that the woman struck the boy with her fist and a water bottle, and slammed his head into the airplane window. The woman was taken into custody at the airport and released on a $10,000 bond. She has been ordered to have no contact with the child pending further legal proceedings.
