Once again this is clear the US government is not unified over the strategy for assisting Ukraine and stopping the russian aggressor. We are witnessing the House Intelligence Committee issue a letter to Secretary Austin, urging him to authorize Ukraine to use the U.S.-Provided Weapons to Strike Strategic Targets within Russian Territory and additional Air Defense capabilities.Yet Austin says 'expectation' is Ukraine won't use US weapons outside its territory, despite Russian advance.
We urge all Ukraine Supporters to get behind the Congressmen who fight for the capabilities Ukraine desperately needs at this time. You can do so by calling your Members of the Congress and declaring your support for the letter issued by the House Intelligence Committee and asking your Representatives to do the same.

July 29, 2024 - Biden Administration Announces Additional Security Assistance for Ukraine
“Today, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced additional security assistance to meet Ukraine's critical security and defense needs. This includes the authorization of a Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) package valued at up to $200 million to provide Ukraine with key capabilities, including: air defense interceptors; munitions for rocket systems and artillery; and anti-tank weapons.
In addition, DoD is announcing a significant package of support using approximately $1.5 billion in Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) funds. This package includes capabilities to augment Ukraine's air defenses, fires, and anti-tank weapons, as well as funding to sustain equipment previously committed by the United States.”
It should be noted, that the $1.5 billion munitions under USAI are long term commitments and only the $200 million PDA package is subject to immediate delivery to Ukraine. Also please note the current trend of providing Ukraine with extremely small military aid packages, that are now spaced further apart than in the past. The previous package in the amount of $250 million was announced on July 11 , about 2.5 weeks ago. In the beginning of the full scale invasion Ukraine was receiving over $1 billion in military aid every 2 weeks. This trend was significantly reduced in the Fall of 2023, citing the lack of Congress appropriated funds as the reason for decrease. The aid packages remained low despite the new Supplemental for Ukraine passing in April.

Biden Administration Announces Additional Security Assistance for Ukraine
DOD announced additional security assistance to meet Ukraine's critical security and defense needs.
Forbes reports that Ukraine had an opportunity to target Russian Warplanes responsible for launching devastating glide bomb attacks on civilian infrastructure and armed forces. However, the current White House administration explicitly prohibited Ukraine from taking action. It is deeply concerning to see the White House attempting to balance the interests of both Ukraine and Russia. While the objectives of this strategy are unclear, it is evidently harmful to Ukraine and only serves to prolong the war and the suffering of the Ukrainian people.
We urge all Americans to contact their Senators and Representatives to highlight that any policies restricting Ukraine's ability to defend itself are counterproductive and damaging. These policies must be revoked immediately, as they not only harm Ukraine but also embolden Russia to continue its unprovoked and unjustified aggression.

Ukraine Had A Chance To Blow Up Russia’s Best Warplanes On The Tarmac. The White House Said No—And Now It’s Too Late.
Ukraine is still hitting Russian airfields, but only with less destructive drones.
