Allah says in surah Ghafir [40]:
[وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ]
And your Lord said, "Call on Me, I will respond to you." [60]
Ibn Jurayj said: 'Ataa' once told me:
Tawus al-Yamani once came to me with the following carefully chosen words. He said, "'Ataa beware of trying to fulfill your needs from those who shut their door in your face +draw the curtains closed. What you should do is go to One whose door remains open to you until the Day of Resurrection. He has instructed you to ask Him + promised you that He will respond"

O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not personal inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort your testimony or refuse to give it, then indeed Allah is ever, of what you do, Aware.

Indeed Allah protects His believing servant from the Dunya while he loves it just as you protect your sick from food and drink fearing for them.

“Faith increases and decreases.” It was said, “How does it increase and decrease?” Umair said, “If we remember our Lord and fear him, then it will increase. If we are heedless and we forget and we waste our time, then it will decrease.”

A Sheikh once asked a very deep question💔
“If you were to die today, which of your close friends would remind you to say your Shahadah?”
Think about it.
If you had to struggle to name someone, perhaps you need to reconsider your circle.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “A person is upon the religion of his close friend, so let each of you look at whom he befriends.”
May Allah bless us with friends who remind us of Him, bring us closer to Him, and hold our hands towards Jannah. Ameen.❤️

If you give charity openly, it is good, but if you keep it secret and give to the needy in private, that is better for you, and it will atone for some of your bad deeds. Allah is aware of all that you do.
