Psalm 55:17 (KJV) «Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.»

Imagine giving your body a mini vacation every day - that's what fasting does! It's like hitting the reset button on your system. You're not just shedding pounds; you're giving your body a tune-up. Your cells start getting rid of the junk that's been piling up, making it easier for your body to burn excess fat. Your brain gets sharper, and it even helps you live longer! Just as fasting renews your body, prayer renews your fire! The life of a Christian should be marked by daily, continuous prayer. Every prayer session is a spiritual detox, removing the residue of the world and sharpening your spirit. Prayer isn't merely communication but a congealing of fire. You are imbued with power to shed any weight or sin that tries to beset you.

Just as Jesus prayed daily, setting times to pray throughout the day keeps the fire on your altar burning. This fire sustains you and gives you longevity. When you're full of fire, no fetters can bind you! Hallelujah!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I claim restoration in every area of my life, for God has richly given me all I am free from spiritual oppression. Because I carry the fire of God, no demon can inhabit my space! Every morning, I lay the pieces of my life on the altar. The fire within me will overcome every attack; no evil can consume me because I am fire-full! Amen.

Monday, April 21 || SPIRITUAL TOXICOLOGY

Ephesians 4:31-32 (NKJV) «Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.»

In the science of toxicology, which is the study of poisons and their effects, most poisons degrade or lose potency over time. But spiritual toxicology shows us a different reality. Unlike natural poisons, unforgiveness becomes more toxic or poisonous over time. The Bible refers to this as the poison of bitterness.

Bitterness happens when unforgiveness graduates. It defiles the spirit. This is why I often say holding onto unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Bitterness troubles you first, then everyone around you. As the Bible says, bitterness defiles many.

The solution? Let go of offences as quickly as possible. This has nothing to do with whether the person who caused the offence apologizes or changes their behaviour. God commands us to forgive. It's a decision you make to honour God. You are made in His likeness, and He freely forgives-so go and do likewise.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

In the Name of Jesus, I release every captive I've held hostage to unforgiveness. I release every offence and put away all bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness. My spirit will not be defiled. I choose to forgive. I am no longer held in the bondage of bitterness! Hallelujah!
