Monday, July 1 || SONS HAVE INHERITANCE
Today's scripture shows us that a true son is poised to receive his father's inheritance, even the grandchildren! You see, the moment Elisha was called, he considered Prophet Elijah his master. Hence, the relationship between the two was of a servant and master nature. Throughout his walk and servitude. to Prophet Elijah. Elisha called Elijah a master. The reality is that Elisha lived under Elijah simply as a servant!
Imagine, when Elisha said he wanted a double portion of what Elijah had, the reply was it was a hard thing. A master could not bequeath to a servant's inheritance, so it was difficult for Elijah to readily accept Elisha's request. However, Elijah conditioned his reply and said, "If you see me go." what you asked is yours! The very moment the chariots separated Elijah from Elisha, Elisha recognised that Elijah was his spiritual father, and it was at the point of recognition of fatherhood that the mantle upon Elijah was released on Elisha as a son. Recognise who you are and partake of the inheritance as a son.

The true secret of success in ministry and spiritual growth is hunger for the things of God. Have you arrived at the point in your life where you have become intentional and deliberate in your pursuit of spiritual matters? Most Christians want to exude power; they want to excel; they want to see the demonstration of power but are unwilling to crave the things of the Spirit. If you want to be mightily used of God, go beyond your desires and intentions and practice consecration to the things of God and separation to God.
Your prayer life should go beyond one hour, the minimum requirement.Your Bible should not collect dust on the shelf, taken down only on Sunday for church service. You must get deeply acquainted with Godโs word, for therein you will know the will of God concerning your life. Let it be said of you that you never skip Church or the gathering of saints, and I assure you, your life will shine in this year of Milk and Honey without

There will always be religious people, critics, sceptics, and nay-sayers who question what God is doing in your life. They question why youโre blessed, promoted, shining, and not them. Why are your marriage and family flourishing and not theirs? Why are you getting the contracts, the promotion, the invitation to be a guest preacher and not them? The questions will continue to come whatever the capacity and level of your calling. Be aware.
Notice in todayโs scripture that instead of celebrating and rejoicing with the woman who was healed by Jesus, they tried to find fault with the healing process and timing. Let me put it bluntly, those who think that God needs to get special permission from them before blessing you will be surprised at the speed of your rising! Our God needs no approval from the nay-sayers to ensure that youโre blessed going out and blessed coming in. Donโt even consider their opinions; all that matters is Godโs opinion about you!

When you go to fast-food restaurants like McDonalds or KFC, there are categories of service and corresponding time allotments. A customer who only needs two pieces of chicken or a hamburger will get served very fast and in no time. But when you arrive at the counter with a large order of twenty buckets of twenty pieces each, you will be told to step aside as your order is being prepared. Why? Because your order is a โspecial orderโ that needs more time and meticulous attention.
If you see that in the natural people take time and more resources to prepare special orders, as in KFC or McDonalds, how much more in spiritual things! If you want a brilliant wife whoโs dedicated to the things of God, highly intelligent, beautiful, loving, God-fearing, respectful, good at saving money and tolerant, be patient. You need the God-kind of faith and be prepared to wait. God is working on your special order to ensure you prosper beyond the normal in this year of Milk and Honey!
