📊 If price aggressively extends away from Monday's range early in the week...

📈 Thursday and Friday often rotate back into Monday's range.

🧠 Markets rarely move in a straight line. Expansion is often followed by mean reversion before the week closes.

🎯 Keep Monday's high and low on your chart you may be surprised how often the market revisits them.

🧠 The Fear of Pulling the Trigger Near the Profit Target

📊 A trader reaches +5.6% on a $100K evaluation with a 6% Phase 1 target.

🎯 Just 0.4% remains.

But instead of executing valid setups, they close viable positions and spend the next six trading days barely moving forward.

⚠️ This isn't risk management. It's fear disguised as discipline.
The opposite mistake is just as dangerous:

📈 A trader gets within 1% of the target and suddenly doubles their risk to “finish it today.”

🧠 Both behaviors come from the same mistake: treating the final 1% differently from everything that came before it.

🎯 Real discipline means keeping the same process, position sizing, and risk rules regardless of how close you are to passing.

The target doesn't change your edge. Your perception of it does.
