I’ve disabled star reactions on this channel's posts.

I don’t know about the exact price users pay for buying these stars reactions to react to posts here or anywhere, but the stars received as reactions on this channel are worth $0.013 USD (1.3 cents) per star.

So far, we’ve received a total of 244 stars till date, which comes to a whopping amount of $3.17 USD.

And guess what? The minimum withdrawal requirement on telegram is $100, which we’re realistically never going to reach in a lifetime with these conversion values anyway.

That’s a complete scam as well.

Telegram claims they share 50% of ad revenue with channel owners, but in reality, this channel has earned only $6.82 in total over the past 2 years from ads despite ads being shown 24/7 and some posts even reaching 50k+ views. And yes the minimum withdrawal requirement is 100$ here too which isn't gonna be met either in the whole lifetime.

Telegram also doesn’t allow channel owners to disable ads unless the channel reaches Level 50, which itself requires paid boosts (similar to Discord’s boost system, idk what bs is this again). So unlike star reactions, we simply cannot disable ads.

We also don’t run any ads on our website too, as they reportedly ruin site experience.. and it's agreeable.

In short, Telegram’s monetization system is complete BS and is best to be avoided.
