The modern consumer based economy is unsustainable and can only survive in a perpetual state war and terror, that's why 24 hour news networks exist, to keep the populace in a constant state of fear, fear triggers a fight or flight response, the fight response leads to a demand for war and flight reaction leads to a shopping spree. Trump's attack on #Venezuela only happened after he justified it by calling the Maduro regime drug traffickers and consequently calling drugs #WMDs, this way he justified an unlawful war as a necessary Anti-Terror war. What's the bottom line? To gain more money and power. But we were warned about both fear and the love of money
