I Shall Not Want
The entire concept of #consumerism revolves around a relentless desire to accumulate stuff, materialistic wantsthat can only be justified through emotions not reason. This is where fear comes to the picture, fear produces the necessary stulimula to trick our mind into believing that matter is all that matters and we need a whole bunch of it if we are to prosper. Fear is the catalyst that primes us into a fight or flight mode in which not our cerebral but our visceral faculties rule. Fear makes us forget that no matter how much Manna we gather we won't have too much or too little, fear makes us oblivious to the fact that the Lord is our Shepherd and our Leader and in him we should trust, fear tries to hide the fact that lilies of the field toil not yet they are better arrayed than Solomon in all his glory. Once frightened we lose the ability to appreciate and be grateful for what we have and delude ourselves into being in a quagmire and a man in a quagmire does anything to get out
