A few new distro version releases this week:

The oldest active Linux distribution, Slackware, released version 15.0.

Lightweight Linux distro Peppermint OS finally sees the release of version 11. This version got delayed due to the untimely demise of its lead developer, Mark Greaves. Peppermint now uses Debian as base.

I am glad to see the new releases from these two distros because it seemed like their development stopped.

There is a new distribution called Nobara Project, based on Fedora with a slight twist.

GNOME 42 is gearing up for the release in March. Here's what's coming to this new version.

Fedora 35 and Ubuntu 22.04 should feature GNOME 42.

Application highlight of this week is Twine, an open source software for creating interactive fiction.

Hakerzy z Anonymous: przejęliśmy dane rosyjskiego ministerstwa

Kolektyw hakerski Anonymous we wtorek po południu poinformował, że w efekcie ataku cybernetycznego przejął bazę danych Ministerstwa Rozwoju Gospodarczego Rosji.

Do wpisów na profilach społecznościowych grupy Anonymous informujących o skutecznym ataku cybernetycznym na Ministerstwo Rozwoju Gospodarczego Rosji dołączono zrzut ekranu Widać na nim zawartość strony internetowej w domenie old.economy.gov.ru. Katalog zawiera bardzo długą listę folderów. Przy tych u góry, widocznych w grafice, wskazane daty ostatniej modyfikacji są od 2013 do 2018 roku.
