Już niedługo polscy naukowcy i przedsiębiorcy otrzymają pełny dostęp do jednego z najnowocześniejszych superkomputerów świata. Maszyna ta pozwoli im prowadzić badania i wykonywać związane z nimi obliczenia, które wcześniej albo w ogóle nie były możliwe, albo zajęłyby zbyt dużo czasu. Co ważne, komputer ten nie znajduje się w jakimś odległym zakątku świata, a w Krakowie na terenie kampusu AGH. Miałem możliwość zobaczyć Heliosa (bo tak nazywa się główny bohater tego tekstu) na żywo i zdecydowanie jest co podziwiać.

Bardzo podobał mi się artykuł z Mamby , ale nie była to dla mnie szczególnie łatwa lektura, ponieważ nie miałem wcześniej kontaktu z dużą ilością wymaganego materiału (modelowanie przestrzeni stanów, skany równoległe itp.).

Napisałem wyjaśnienie (link tutaj* ) i jestem ciekaw, czy ludzie mają jakieś uwagi lub uznają je za pomocne/interesujące.

Było to częściowo ćwiczenie mające na celu ugruntowanie mojego własnego zrozumienia, ale miałem także nadzieję, że będzie dobre dla społeczności, ponieważ nie ma zbyt wielu tutoriali na temat architektury Mamby.

Why This Matters
