Now as it currently stands, there will be six African teams heading in to the round of 32, and you could argue that none of them have a favourable first round match.

The Ghanaians, however, will actually be hoping they secure themselves potentially a best third-place finish to avoid having to play Portugal in the round of 32.

If they were to directly swap places with Croatia, they could actually see themselves having two games back-to-back that they have every right to think they should be able to win.

If that is the scenario, then taking this at 10/1 is almost a no brainer. However, just because they finished third in this group will not mean that they would swap places with Croatia in the round of thirty two directly.
