The Ghanaians, however, will actually be hoping they secure themselves potentially a best third-place finish to avoid having to play Portugal in the round of 32.
If they were to directly swap places with Croatia, they could actually see themselves having two games back-to-back that they have every right to think they should be able to win.
If that is the scenario, then taking this at 10/1 is almost a no brainer. However, just because they finished third in this group will not mean that they would swap places with Croatia in the round of thirty two directly.
The Ghanaians will feel that they have been underwhelming offensively, however defensively they have been very sound, especially after managing to prevent England from even scoring a goal.
