I met a lot of nice people, especially now that I'm living in Japan and the culture is real different and the people are really nice and I enjoy entering onsen, which is hot springs, which is natural hot springs in the mountain and plus where I live is kind of countryside, so I enjoy that.

زمان هر دو قسمت با توجه به متن سوال گذشته استمراری ( past continuous) است.
برای جواب دادن به این سوال باید به 2 نکته توجه داشت:

📌ابتدا معنی جمله را بفهمیم و طبق آن گزینه درست را انتخاب کنیم.

📌نکته بعدی در رابطه با شناسایی فاعل ها است. فاعل اول (teacher) سوم شخص مفرد است، در حالی که در قسمت دوم سوال فاعل(students) جمع است.

بنابراین
▪️The teacher + was
▪️The students + were

با در نظر گرفتن این توضیحات، گزینه 1 صحیح است.
