Microsoft has added AI to Windows Terminal
Microsoft has integrated AI into Windows Terminal, which is now available in Canary build. Users can ask for help with commands, fix errors, or get quick code snippets.
The AI is context-aware, and is integrated with different shells like PowerShell, Command Prompt, WSL, and Azure Cloud Shell. However, it is not free, and requires your own API key from GitHub Copilot, Azure, or OpenAI. It doesn’t save history, but sessions can be exported.
