Python is Now the Most Popular Language on GitHub
Python has become the most used language on GitHub, overtaking JavaScript after a 10-year run as the most used language. This change shows how widely Python is used in areas like data science, machine learning, and web development.
The increase in AI projects on GitHub, which grew by 98% in the past year, has also played a big part in Python's rise. More people are using Jupyter Notebooks.
However, JavaScript still ranks first for code pushes alone and Rust continues to gain popularity for its safety, performance, and productivity
