Xiaomi Unveils New Logo of Redmi in China
Since Xiaomi cannot copy Apple's logo unlike their UI and their creativity resides inside the dustbin, thus they ended up making all the letters in uppercase now while making a new logo. Money spent by Xiaomi in developing this new logo is unknown.
Also, this new logo was announced on 15th November which is 5 days before Jaguar annouced their new logo. Thus, it's possible that Jaguar got inspired by or copied the Redmi's new logo made by Xiaomi.

Sony might be one of the few OEMs that'll actually implement Google's Private Space feature in Android 15.
Most other OEMs will just stick with their current takes on this feature, like Samsung Secure Folder, Xiaomi Second Space, OnePlus Hide Apps, etc.
It's a shame because these other implementations can't be integrated into third-party launchers and also a lot of apps treat them like a work profile is installed.

Google Messages is rolling out a new UI for sending pictures!
The new UI unifies the camera/gallery and also adds a button to change the media quality. The default quality is compressed but you can send in original quality, finally!
9to5Google reported on the rollout of this new UI last night, after which I checked and saw that I had it on my device.

Google sues ex-engineer over leaked Pixel chip secrets
Google has sued ex-engineer Harshit Roy in Texas for allegedly leaking trade secrets about its Pixel chip designs.
Roy posted confidential information on X and LinkedIn, which includes images of internal documents after resigning in February 2024. Roy tagged competitors like Apple and Qualcomm in his posts.
Although takedown requests were made, Roy continued sharing confidential details. He also wrote a post in which he claims that Google is a fraud company.
Google asked the court for an unspecified amount of monetary damages and court orders to stop Roy from sharing information.

This is not an advertisement to continue using Windows. However it is a good list of the privacy nightmare that is collected from you by default. Windows is the very embodiment of the data harvesting industry in a nutshell. There is also a good tidbit about why you shouldn't allow even anonymous data collection.

Google is also rolling out an updated UI for Circle to Search that adds a button to show additional functions!
I quite like this change, as previously, Circle to Search was getting quite cramped with all the new features Google was cramming into it.
This new UI has been rolling out to several users in the past few days, but after receiving another tip about it last night, I noticed I had it myself.
