Xiaomi XRING O1 SoC Announced

XRING is Xiaomi's independently self-developed mobile processor for smartphones, watches , tabs etc.

CPU: Manufactured by TSMC on its 3nm N3E node
2x Cortex-X925 @ 3.9GHz
• 4x Cortex-A725 or X4 @ 3.4GHz
• 2x Cortex-A720/A725 @ 1.89GHz
• 2x Cortex-A520 @ 1.8GHz
10-core config.

Modem: MediaTek T900 5G
GPU: 16 cores Mali G-925 Immortalis
Clocked at 1.795GHz

• Self - developed 6-core NPU
• Self - developed 4th Gen ISP
• 19 billion transistors
• 109mm² die size

The O1 has no SLC. But, there is 16MB of L3 shared between all 10 cores, 2MB L2 each for the X925 cores and 1MB L2 for each of the A725 cores. The GPU has 4MB of cache while the NPU has 10MB cache & offers 44 TOPS. The XRING image shows that it got engraving in the same design as Huawei's Kirin chip which means ....

MediaTek Dimensity 9400 also has G-925 Immortalis GPU but with 12 cores. However, in reality XRING consumes more power & thus heats a lot as well. In short, GPU is inefficient.
