Two rogue packagesβethers-provider2 and ethers-providerzβsilently patched the legit ethers library to deploy a reverse shell.
Uninstalling wonβt help. The malicious code persists, waiting to reinfect when ethers is reinstalled. Even deleted files donβt stop it.
