Microsoft Windows in 2025 is getting the ability to show battery percentage in taskbar
Microsoft is finally adding a built-in option to show battery percentage on the taskbar in windows 11 which all major Operating Systems already have.
Currently, the new battery percentage option is hidden in the latest Windows 11 Dev Channel build 26120.2992.
To get the option, you need a 3rd-party tool called ViveTool to flip the hidden feature ID: 48822452 and reboot. If that doesn't work, enable 48433719.
This will also enable some other changes to the battery icon that were present in earlier CUs such as labels for icons in the battery usage graph and the battery icon will now turn orange when energy saver is enabled, and green when charging.

After seeing all the progress that's been made in Windows emulation on Android, I've been waiting for some OEM to ship a simple tool that gets the job done.
Kudos to Xiaomi for this. Hopefully this is something they can bring globally.

If you really need Kiwi Browser, you can download the latest published version of Kiwi Browser here. Do not download Kiwi Browser from any other sources.
While your Kiwi Browser installation will still work for some time, itβs essential to explore alternatives like Microsoft Edge Canary, Vivaldi Browser or Mozilla Firefox to stay secure and up-to-date.

Security researcher DuchyRE highlighted something interesting about DeepSeek AI.
If you ask about the Terrorist Attacks on September 11th, 2001 in the United States, DeepSeek will answer it. Furthermore, DeepSeek will provide criticism of the United States government (Image 1, Image 2)
If you ask DeepSeek about Tianamen Square in China in 1989, DeepSeek says it cannot answer that question. Additionally, DeepSeek is unable to produce any criticism of the Chinese government. (Image 3)
