In our latest #TBOT Show interview, I sat down with Aaron Day—founder of the Daylight Freedom Foundation and creator of projects like Technocracy Atlas, Freedom Forge, and Oasara.

We dive into the surveillance realities baked into Bitcoin, the lesser-known history of the network, and how regulation and enforcement are reshaping what many still believe is a private, sovereign financial system. Aaron challenges long-held assumptions and explains why simply “using crypto” is no longer enough if freedom is the goal.

In the second half (for paid Substack members), the conversation widens to the rise of AI—how it intersects with finance, surveillance, and governance, and why these systems shouldn’t be viewed in isolation.

It’s a conversation that pushes beyond surface-level narratives and asks bigger questions about autonomy, power, and the future we’re collectively building.

A Unique Look at Russia’s Biometric ID Web

I was recently on Corbett Report’s #SolutionsWatch and we dug into how Russia’s new online age verification is really a whole web of state-controlled biometrics. Instead of a simple app, they’ve pieced together a “Gosuslugi” system that’s a public-private mashup, layering bank-collected biometrics into a national database.

🔐Talking the Clarity Act on The Higherside Chats

Recently talked with Greg Carlwood of The Higherside Chats about something I’m calling the “Patriot Act for Crypto.” We broke down how the Clarity Act, which started as an anti-CBDC move, is morphing into a tool to crack down on privacy coins and decentralized exchanges. Instead of a central bank digital currency, think “Amazon Coin” or “Walmart Coin,” with new rules that basically make it illegal to “split the bill” in crypto without jumping through regulatory hoops.
