🪙The Android IRS: How Google once tried to tax battery-sucking background apps
Android almost had its own IRS (seriously!) that would audit (no joke!) apps for their 🪫 usage.
Here’s how it would’ve worked 👇

Someone compromised the University of Pennsylvania and sent out a very silly message to students, faculty, and alumni.
I can't tell if they're actually politically motivated or trying to rustle jimmies.
Overall I give it a solid 8/10 for a Halloween silly

🚨 400+ Cisco routers hacked across Australia!
A new implant called BADCANDY is exploiting CVE-2023-20198 — even after patches.
Rebooting won’t help. Hackers just come back.

Linux for Apple Silicon still has a long way to go. It is not serviceable as a daily driver just yet. If you have followed it there had been a problem for the team when how an M3 operates at boot up changed over the M2 and M1. This was a major hurdle for the project but it is back on track.

Fedora released Rawhide Pre-release KDE ISO on their website, accidentally...
I was installing Fedora 43 earlier just because I like it but, I was literally figuring out on how to fix the installer, they even named the top-right as "Fedora 43," but then it gave me a weird error and I still tried to boot it.
And guess what? I installed a pre-release version that shouldn't be exist in public. How Fedora made a big mistake on this shit? 🥀

Looks Like OnePlus has released OOS 16 Kernels for 4 devices
- OnePlus Ace 6
- OnePlus 13 (Not sure if global and Chinese are same)
- OnePlus 13T
- OnePlus 13S
These will be released maybe next week.
Also these releases initially wont be having hmbird scx dtbo patching. I need users to confirm if its required or not!
If required... All sm8750 will have hmbird with dtbo patches!
