India's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND) is flexing its regulatory muscles with non-compliance notices under Section 13 of the ancient Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002 against 25 offshore Virtual Digital Asset Service Providers (VDA SPs), slamming them for serving Indian users without registration.

Under the IT Act's Section 79(3)(b), FIU-IND demands takedowns of their apps and URLs for dodging AML/CFT obligations like reporting, record-keeping, transaction monitoring, and KYC regardless of physical presence in India.
CEX has issued a notice that they would shut down in india by October 9. Lbank and others haven't responded.

China's Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. has reportedly suffered a data breach

A threat hacker from the secret forums website, allegedly selling the source code, including the tools they use (eg. unlocking bootloader, edl authentication, etc.)

There's no further announcement from Huawei yet, and the source was sold now. The revenue is around $98.5B, and sold it for $1K only.

Hey there! Welcome back!

This last year has been a whirlwind to say the least, but we have remained dedicated to bringing an updated LineageOS based on Android 16 to the masses!

We’ve been hard at work rebasing all of our changes and features since Android 16’s release in June. Android 16’s first release mainly contained iterative improvements and some UI/UX refinements, but due to our previous efforts adapting to Google’s UI-centric adjustments in Android 12 through 14, we were able to rebase onto Android 16’s code-base faster than anticipated. Yes you read that right: We’re early this year!

Other components have complicated our release and security patching efforts, but we’ll get to that shortly.
