Meizu is the Copycat of the Copycat
The latest Meizu 22 is literally a copy of Xiaomi 15 launched 11 months ago. Meizu copied Xiaomi so much that:
1. Same TCL CSOT C9 screen is used in both except Xiaomi calls it M9
2. The internals of the display are also designed the same which means meizu 22 display with white bezels can be used on Xiaomi 15
3. Even the back of the smartphone including the camera module is designed the same way as Xiaomi 15. The colours are same as well!
Interestingly, brands use LPDDR5X RAM of Samsung, SK Hynix, Micron, Kioxia etc. But Meizu 22 uses RAM of a homegrown Chinese RAM manufacturer -- Rayson.
Meizu is prolly the only brand who is inspired from XIAOMI 💀😭

Following Apple, Chinese brands like Oppo, Xiaomi and Honor are also working on their light and slim phones of the iPhone Air
Xiaomi already has 4 models: regular, Pro, Pro Max and Ultra. So Air will be a 5th model of Xiaomi
Then there is also T and T Pro for global which makes it 7 models. "S Pro" also exists in China which features Xring SoC making it the 8th model & then comes the Civi model, finally making it the 9th smartphone from Xiaomi in just the number series alone (without counting Redmi and Poco)
Xiaomi literally exists to dump smartphones on Earth

Exclusive: Here's what Global OriginOS 6 Will Feature
Vivo India has now finally teased that OriginOS 6 is coming to India as well as globally. The registration for OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 in India will begun from 29th September onwards for iQOO 13 and Vivo X200 Pro. Although the beta will land next month only, but stable will not debut before Vivo's X300 series global debut.
Now as for the Global OriginOS 6, compared to the Chinese one, it will be a watered down version. New features include:
1. Control Center
2. Fonts
3. Themes
4. Animation
5. Dynamic Island clone
But it will be nowhere near to the OriginOS China in terms of features, same story like HyperOS China v/s HyperOS Global.
In short, just few features from OriginOS China as the FunTouchOS used to get with every new release. Thus, OriginOS Global will just renamed "FunTouchOS".

Internal testing of native video wallpaper support has been spotted in recent Windows 11 Insider Preview builds (Dev/Beta 26220.6690/26120.6690). Users will be able to apply video files in widely used container formats, including MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, M4V, and MKV, as desktop backgrounds. The system will automatically loop playback without requiring user intervention. Video resolution and frame rate will be adjusted dynamically to maintain system stability and resource consumption during playback.

Microsoft announces its innovative in-chip microfluidic cooling system
Microsoft has successfully tested a
new cooling system that removed heat up to 3x better than cold plates, an advanced cooling technology commonly used today. It uses microfluidics, an approach that brings liquid coolant directly inside the silicon – where the heat is. Tiny channels are etched directly on the back of the silicon chip, creating grooves that allow cooling liquid to flow directly onto the chip and more efficiently remove heat.
Microfluidics are not only innovative but also challenging as it requires ensuring that the channels are deep enough to circulate adequate cooling liquid without clogging while not being so deep as to weaken the silicon such that it risks breaking. Microfluidics also requires designing a leak-proof package for the chip, finding the best coolant formula, testing different etching methods and developing a step-by-step process for adding etching to manufacturing the chips.
Microfluidics have reduced the maximum temperature rise of the silicon inside a GPU by 65%, though this will vary by the type of chip. The team expects the advanced cooling technology would also improve power usage effectiveness, a key metric for measuring how energy efficient a datacenter is, and reduce operational costs.
As part of the prototyping effort, Microsoft collaborated with Swiss startup Corintis to use AI to help optimize a bio-inspired design to cool chips’ hot spots more efficiently than straight up-and-down channels, which they also tested. The bio-design resembles the veins in a leaf or a butterfly wing. 4 prototype designs have been developed so far in 1 year.

BREAKING: Xiaomi Scammed Everyone with Fake “Proprietary” Fast Charging Tech
The Xiaomi 17 Series will officially support 100W universal PPS fast charging and you can use pretty much any PPS charger and get full-speed charging — finally breaking free from Xiaomi’s own charger ecosystem. Meanwhile the Xiaomi smartphones with Surge P1 and P2 fast charging chips uses Xiaomi's proprietary MiPPS protocol for faster charging.
Well, if you’re rooted, there’s a sneaky trick — just run this command:
and boom, your phone switches from Xiaomi’s locked-down MiPPS to plain old, public PPS.
So after all this time, Xiaomi’s “special” fast charging was just a rebranded standard protocol, hidden behind a wall to keep users tied to their chargers. A senior CoolAPK user confirmed this hack works on all Surge P1 and P2 devices. In other words, Xiaomi fooled its own fans, making them think they needed proprietary tech, when all along it was just standard PPS with a fancy new name.
This could also be one of the reasons why Xiaomi is so desperate to stop users from rooting their devices by adding 69420 rules for bootloader unlocking.
