👁👁 Big Brother sends his regards: Palantir sinks its claws into Europe

The Netherlands’ police have been using AI intelligence software supplied by US spyware giant Palantir since 2011, local media revealed last week thanks to documents obtained via the Open Government Act.

But if you think that The Netherlands is the only European country to use this controversial software – think again.

🔴 In Germany, several federal lands like Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia use Palantir’s products, such as the AI-powered surveillance program Gotham, in law enforcement, even though the German federal government officially ceased using Palantir tools in 2023.

🔴 Palantir’s Gotham is used in the POL-INTEL data analysis program run by the law enforcement in Denmark and designed for predictive policing.

🔴 In the United Kingdom, Palantir secured a multimillion dollar contract to develop a Federated Data Platform for the National Health Service.

🔴 France’s intelligence and national police actively use Palantir’s products for data analysis, despite efforts to develop local analogs.

Having already become the biggest spying machine in US history, Palantir now spreads its tools and influence across the US-dominated Western Europe and the meek EU bureaucrats do not seem to mind.
