CCC asks Interior Minister Dobrindt to take back his "security package"

The latest plans by the Federal Minister of the Interior with a "Security Package 2.0" provide for serious new surveillance tools for police work. Among them is a repainted grid search in a police "super database" and the introduction of experimental automatic biometried data comparisons. A broad civil society alliance, including the CCC, therefore calls for the immediate end of these projects in an open letter.
