The topic here is about cve.. cve can be of varying degrees..
Some cve is of less importance and companies choose to ignore it.. while some are big and companies only report if it deems neccesary..
So its upto a personal viewpoint if you wanna report it or not.. in Qualcomms case all cve regardless of its severity have been reported..
So your claim more cve = less secure is not entirely true..

Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite is a Heater!
Tech reviewer Ben Geskin tried gaming on his Realme GT 7 Pro powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite SoC. He tried games like MadOut 2 on Max Settings for 10mins which at start offered 45 FPS & later throttled down to 33FPS only. The youtuber then tried playing Wreckfest at highest brightness & at Max Graphics. GT Turbo Game Settings was turned ON which was set to balance mode with low power.
Initially the temperate was 26C and it was offering 60FPS. However, after just 15mins of gameplay, the FPS dropped to 50FPS and the temperature raised to 43C. It took 20mins for the redness on youtuber's hand to disappear which was caused by playing just for 15mins.
Obviously, the hottest spot was the chip area, but the top frame was also burning hot and that’s where you hold your hand. He claims that:
"Gaming on a Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone… it hurts. This is the hottest phone I’ve ever held - literally. It even started smelling like melted plastic"
