Amazon Dependency, Smart Houses, and Thought Crime

What Happened:
—Amazon driver reports "racist" statement made to him.
—Amazon shuts off all "smart devices" in the house.
—Smart Device user has to provide video footage of the driver's delivery to prove his "innocence" that nothing racist was said.
—A week later, Amazon turns on Smart Device users appliances, lights, etc. because account user found to be "innocent".

Issues:
1) Why do people willingly turn over their sovereignty to corporations?

2) We live in a society where someone's unpopular statements are grounds for turning off their bought and paid for possessions.

3) For those of you with Smart Devices, now you know that, if Amazon doesn't like you, you don't get to turn on your lights. But why didn't you already think of that before filling your house with mechanisms that someone else controls?

4) White people are at the mercy of any nonwhite who wants to claim racism. We see this again and again. This is a reason it's safest for white people to steer completely clear of any interaction whatsoever with nonwhites.

Sad, but that's what can happen when you enter your sneed phrase on your computer.

With the right adblocker, you won't see those potentially malicious ads. To think that people won't even visually check the URL before entering sensitive information... it makes you wonder if anyone verifies that they've downloaded the correct, untampered executable before running it (that's why PGP signatures are there!).

If only Google cared as much about suppressing phishing attacks as they do with FOSS and pro-White content.

The Azure hack appears to be still unresolved. Microsoft won't answer questions, and security firms are suggesting Microsoft hasn't fixed it.

Seems the obvious answer here is that "Chinese" hackers got ahold of a key Microsoft doesn't want to acknowledge exists, since that would mean having to explain why there even was a master key to begin with.
