What I love about the freedom convoy protest is that the regime was forced to go mask-off to deal with legitimately peaceful protesters. If you're White and are against your "democractically elected" government's policy, you cannot hold a welcoming, loving sit-in with your children in bouncy castles.

So while convoy supporters lose their jobs over $100 donations, and have their bank accounts shut down for being true political dissidents... people are making bank runs. They're panicking and taking as much fiat as they can from banks who now have complete authority to seize their income, savings, and investments on a whim. And that's led to bank outages across the country. Many ATMs and bank branches are no longer allowing people to cash out.

It is definitely a wild ride up there. Never before has the government been viewed as less legitimate. People should be stocking up on supplies, vices for trade, etc rather than holding cash while their purchasing power is lessened by the day.

This has been a far greater red pill than any infograph or statistic you could ever show someone. I would strongly encourage everyone to get enough food, protection, and means of getting clean water ASAP.

If you foolishly thought it was a wise choice to donate to either crowdfunding campaign or use crypto-currency that is tied to your identity, you are in danger. They will be coming for you. Regardless of which side of the border you reside, or even if you are across the pond, this is officially a domestic terrorist group. I predict that anyone who has financially supported them may be hunted by the RCMP, FBI, INTERPOL, etc in the near future. [Feds were behind these crowdfunding efforts, since not only do they now have accurate lists of dissidents to persecute, but people have messaged me saying they were banned in convoy groups for sharing guides on using Monero.]

Since Homeland Security views misinformation (false information) and "mal-information" (true, but offensive information) on par with terrorism, they inevitably would censor their current combatant's media platform. You can't have Americans (and by extension, the West overall) hearing anything other than what our government and mainstream media says. Everything else is a lie, or worse... a harmful truth.

Node-ipc is some sort of open source nodejs library used widely by developers and software companies. The guy who wrote or maintains this package took justice into his own hands and added rogue code that overwrites everything on your filesystem if your server has an IP address in Russia or Belarus. An NGO that collects reports of war crimes and government abuse in Russia/Belarus had servers running the package's code in Belarus. When the server's code was updated, the rogue code removes everything on the file system, which appear to be tens of thousands of messages detailing war crimes that were awaiting a process to pick them up and store them on servers or databases outside of the region. The data is likely not recoverable.

For a long time I avoided investing in most crypto because the majority are surveillance coins. 1) Never enter or store your seed phrase on any device. People have lost everything because they took a picture of their seed phrase or emailed it to themselves without any encryption. It's hard to get phished if you never enter your seed on any device.

2) Invest in a trusted hardware wallet (DYOR). Not only does it generate your seed phrase without ever being connected to the internet, but a 24 word phrase is far more secure than a 12 word hot wallet (like MetaMask).

3) For a more permanent way of ensuring your seed phrase doesn't wash away in the laundry, consider stamping your seed phrase into steel and stashing that someplace hidden. This backup to your assets will be more resistant to the elements like accidental floodings or a house fire than a paper copy sitting in your desk would.

4) You could also separate your seed phrase by dividing portions of it between trusted family members or friends. For example, say you keep the first third of your seed in a safe at your house, a second third in a safety deposit box at your bank, and the final third with your best friend. In case of a police raid or similar criminal break-in, they could not recover the entire phrase. You can see why having multiple backups is important too.

It seems that earlier tonight, members of Patriot Front (and Antifa) were arrested before they could do a flash mob against a sodomy pride event in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. An officer at the scene was recorded saying there was an informant within PF who tipped them off.

Just in time for Canada Day, the RCMP admits to using spyware to infiltrate the devices of multiple suspects, including the ability to remotely turn on the camera and microphone of a targeted phone or laptop. They kvetch over how the use of encryption makes surveillance difficult.

There have been a lot of wild events this week.

But I think most exciting for me is to see the Farmers' Revolt taking place in the Netherlands. My understanding is that their government said "since cows cause too much pollution, we need to seize farmers' land to build housing for new migrants."

Inspired by the Freedom Convoy at the start of the year, the farmers have been taking to the streets. In response to the non-violent protest, Dutch pigs actually opened fire on a youth in a tractor! That 16 year old behind the wheel has been arrested for attempted homicide (despite driving in the opposite direction) and it has emboldened protesters. The resistance have been blocking highways, airports, and food distribution centers, as well as spraying manure on riot police and government buildings. They're not letting up; they even have a tank. And now German Farmers are following suit.

These 3 significant events show that chaos can happen anywhere. During a brief period when the banking system is down, cash is king. $100-300 in small denominations should be kept on hand. I believe food insecurity will be one of the biggest issues this decade. I don't have a crystal ball, but you don't need one when the United Nations says world hunger is a good thing (archive). Yes, our enemies have the unchecked egos of cartoon supervillains. Factor in the wheat fields and food processing facilities that have gone up in flames to boot. Grow your own heirloom vegetables, and make connections with local farmers.
