• Niumi Biosphere Reserve (Gambia)

• Colli Euganei Biosphere Reserve (Italy)

• Julian Alps Transboundary Biosphere Reserve (Italy, Slovenia)

• Khar Us Lake Biosphere Reserve (Mongolia)

• Apayaos Biosphere Reserve (Philippines)

• Changnyeong Biosphere Reserve (Republic of Korea)

• Val d'Aran Biosphere Reserve (Spain)

• Irati Biosphere Reserve (Spain)

Exercise Pitch Black 2024

• An Indian Air Force (IAF) contingent landed at the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Darwin, Australia for participating in Exercise Pitch Black 2024.

• The Exercise is scheduled to be conducted from 12 July 24 to 02 August 24, and is a biennial, multi- national exercise hosted by the RAAF.

• The name 'Pitch Black' was derived from the emphasis on night time flying over large un-populated areas.

46th World Heritage Committee Meeting

• India is hosting the 46th session of the World Heritage Committee Meeting in New Delhi this year.

• India has 42 World Heritage Sites, out of which 34 are Cultural, 7 are Natural Sites and 1 Mixed Category.

• The First site listed as a World Heritage site in India was Agra Fort (1983). The same year, Taj Mahal (1983), Ellora Caves (1983) and Ajanta Caves (1983) were inscribed on the list by the World Heritage Committee.

President Droupadi Murmu received First Copies of Four Books from Union Minister Shivraj Chouhan at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Books Are :-

• Rashtrapati Bhavan: Heritage Meets the Present

These books published by the Directorate of Publications Division were formally released earlier at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Dr. L.Murugan & Sanjay Jaju.

The Books "Wings to Our Hopes" and "Aashaon Ki Udaan" are the collection of selected speeches of President Droupadi Murmu during First year of her Presidency.
