Preterism is the view that all biblical prophecies concerning the “end times” have already been fulfilled. 70 A.D.

"O blind world! You and your crazy idea of freedom! You don't even punish any of these devil-possesed men who go and defile the monasteries! Don't associate with any sodomite, else he'll stick to you; likewise don't associate with any heretic lest he contaminate you; likewise don't associate with any jew, because it is prohibited in the Decretal. You have given them [the jews] so much arrogance in your territory, and nowadays you're becoming just like them. You're going against the orders of the holy Church."

St. Bernardino, 21st Sermon, 1425 A.D., Florentine Lenten Cycle, on 'Keeping Good Company'.

The Friar's message is simple: to preserve one's faith, one must stay away from evil people.
The Battle of Gog/Magog and the Battle of Armageddon are One and the Same

Ezekiel's description shows that the battle of Gog and Magog occurs after the earthly ministry of Jesus, but before the great consummation in A.D. 70 and the coming of the kingdom in fullness of power.  All of this is equally true of Armageddon.

And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. Revelation 9:10

The siege of Jerusalem lasted exactly five months.

"And yet to smite with the tail — which tail will be whatever is prolonged from the hindmost part of the body, and scourges — is the one movement which they all use when making an assault. Wherefore that succession of knots in the scorpion, which in the inside is a thin poisoned veinlet, rising up with a bow-like bound, draws tight a barbed sting at the end, after the manner of an engine for shooting missiles. From which circumstance they also call after the scorpion, the warlike implement which, by its being drawn back, gives an impetus to the arrows." - Tertullian, Scorpiace, 1.1.1-2.
And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Daniel 12:9

And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. Revelation 22:10

The third oldest Bible in the world features the four Gospels written in Koine Greek. It is known as the Codex Washingtonianus, the Codex Freerianus or the Washington Gospels, and is over 1,600 years old.

What makes this Codex special, is the passage inserted at the end of the gospel of Mark, known as the "Freer Logion".

In this passage, Jesus tells the disciples that the term of years of satan's power has been fulfilled, but that other terrible things draw near.

St. Jerome not only quoted this passage, but also reported that the Freer Logion appeared in the Gospel of Mark after 16:14 “especially in Greek codices.”

The number of these manuscripts that exist today and which are known to contain this interpolation is exactly one: Codex Washingtonianus

"Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out."

4) Eleazar b. Ananias

5) Niger

6) Joseph b. Simon

7) Manasseh

8) John the Essene
