“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again,” or “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”
I don’t know why, but most people have a fixed mindset. They just can’t step out of their comfort zone. When they fail, they think of themselves as losers or believe they are behind everyone else — but that’s wrong.
In fact, once you start seeing your mistakes as opportunities instead of problems, that’s the moment when you begin to grow your mindset.

📝TASK 2: In today’s world, there is less social contact between old and young people. What are the reasons and solutions?
In contemporary societies, the frequency and quality of interactions between younger and older generations have noticeably declined. This trend is driven by a combination of technological and demographic changes. However, there are several possible solutions to help bridge this gap, such as implementing intentional intergenerational programmes and designing age-diverse environments.
Technological, geographic, and demographic factors are the main reasons for the decline in social interaction between the old and the young. Younger generations increasingly use digital communication among their peers, reducing reliance on older relatives for social contact. The use of social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok, where young people can send messages and share their interests with each other, is the best example of this case.
Apart from that, urbanisation, mobility, and smaller family structures mean that younger people often live farther away from their older relatives, reducing casual contact. In most cases, parents prefer living in cities in search of better job opportunities and quality education for their children. This situation directly leads to a lack of social interaction between children and their older relatives.
This issue can be mitigated by implementing planned intergenerational initiatives and creating an age-diverse atmosphere. Firstly, if parents take responsibility for organizing projects that bring younger and older people together in structured yet casual settings, it would be a useful tool for both generations in terms of social interaction. Shared-site programmes, community cafés, or co-mentoring initiatives, for example, can show positive results in both attitude and social outcomes. The government itself can also take steps to solve this issue by establishing mixed-age community settings. Urban planning and housing that encourage mixed-age occupancy and intergenerational shared public spaces such as parks, cafés, and community centres can facilitate spontaneous contact.
In conclusion, in today's world, the reduced social contact between younger and older generations is not merely a benign shift in social patterns. However, by recognising the importance of inter-generational connection, and by designing both systemic that promote meaningful contact, we can rebuild bridges across age divides.

Shu paytgacha o'qigan kitoblarim ichidan eng zo'rlaridan bitttasi. Juda ham muhim bo'lgan narsalar haqida o'rgandim, menimcha anchagina o'zim va odamlar haqidagi fikrlarimni o'zgartirdim.
Bu kitob asosan "qotib qolgan firklarsh" va "o'suvchi fikrlash" haqida gap yuritadi, birinchi fikrlashda insonlar o'zini borim shu, boshqa o'zgara olmayman va shundayligimcha o'zimni qabul qilishim kerak deb o'ylaydi; ular xatolardan qo‘rqishadi, tanqidni yoqtirishmaydi. va o'sha joyda qotib qoladi, va dunyoda hech kim bo'lmagan holda o'tib ketadi.
Aksincha, ikkinchi o'ylash tarzida esa men qila olaman, insonlar o'zgara oladi degan fikr bo'ladi, va bu har qanaqa odamni yuqori muvafaqqiyatga yetaklaydi. Va bunaqa o'ylash taxminan shunaqa bo'ladi:
Odam shunday deb o‘ylaydi:
“Men hozir bilmasam ham, o‘rganishim mumkin.”
Xatolarni o‘sish uchun imkoniyat deb biladi.
Misol: “Men hali mukammal emasman, lekin har kuni yaxshilanayapman.”
Eng katta o'rgangan narsam bu:
Biz qiladigan xatolar, biz yiqilishimiz yoki to'xtab qolishim uchun emas, balki yanada kuchliroq va o'sishimiz uchun beriladi.
Va ikkinchi narsa bu, hamma narsani imkoni bor, eng imkonsiz ko'ringan narsa ham faqatgina harakat va to'g'ri o'ylash tarzi bilan bo'ladi.
