⭕️Case 1.
10 years old child present with right mucopulrent ear discharge for the last 4 years. A week ago he became dizzy with whirling sensation, nausea vomiting and nystagmus to the opposite side. His deafness become complete and his temperature was normal. Three days later he become feverish, irritable and continously cry due to persistent headaches. Also he had some head retraction. The child was not manged properly and died at the end of the week.
⭕️Case 2.
50 years old male complain of right earache of 2 days duration. The pain was especially severe on chewing food and during speech. There is also marked edema of the right side of the face. On examination, pressure on the tragus was painful and there is swelling arising from the anterior external auditory meatal wall. Renine test was positive in the right ear. The patient give history of 2 previous similar attacks in the same ear during the last six months
⭕️Case 3.
30 years old female present with bilateral hearing loss more on the right side following the delivery of her first child. Hearing loss was marked in quite places but hearing is improved in noisy environment. Both tympanic membranes show normal appearance and Renine test is negative. In drug history, patient takes paracetamol when she had headache.
⭕️Case 4.
18 years old male complain of dull aching pain over the forehead for last 3 years. The pain is increased in morning and decreased in the afternoon together with intermittent nasal discharge. 10 days ago the pain become very severe with complete nasal obstruction and fever. By the 10th day he become drowsy with some mental behavior changes. There is also vomiting and blurred vision.
