Florida currently has the highest level of 287(g) activity. State and local law enforcement was never regularly used this way before Trump.

From 1996 to 2016, we never reached 100 agreements total. Now, in 2026 we are gaining over 100 agreements every month. Under Trump, there are 2,179 active agreements and counting, compared to Obama's peak of 72.
