WaPo reports that recorded voluntary departure, migrants abandoning their immigration cases, has jumped 7x in President Trump's first 14 months and these departures continue to rise.

These results are separate from formal deportations and self-deportations, both of which have also risen to record highs.

It isn't just compared to Biden either; President Trump is achieving a higher voluntary departure rate than has ever been recorded — as far back as the 1980s — next to very low asylum and bond.

We have a once in a lifetime president who actually has closed the border and is draining the population bloat.

ICE director Lyons today revealed major fraud found in OPT and student visas, tens of thousands in excess. OPT allows foreign students to enter an employment pipeline and has been abused since the Obama administration.

These investigations ongoing will work as a sufficient legal tee-up to further restrict the programs, as happened to asylum. Ultimately this would help firmly end OPT.

Laramie County Sheriff's Office signed a Task Force Model of 287(g) specifically, a program that was terminated by Obama and revived by Trump. Task Force agreements let deputies operate as the 'ICE' of their hometown.

For 20+ years the program to let local law enforcement help ICE went unused. The best part of the program allows police to perform street arrests, under the TFM. Obama chose to phase out that section, the Task Force Model, in 2012.

In 2025 President Trump revived it, bringing us from 0 to 1,110 Task Force Model agreements in 15 months. And over 1,800 total agreements in general.
