An Appeal To Pragmatism
his policy has been balanced to navigate the two towards stability, without the excess intervention of past presidents. This maintains U.S. leverage with the region
As I noted before, President Trump has been balancing his relationship with both the Muslims and the Jews of the region over the years in order to establish a situation in which neither side has too much control, and the U.S. does not lose its interests or investments in the Middle East.
President Trump strengthened our relationship with Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and other Gulf States for this purpose, and created the Board of Peace with majority Arab membership as a way to guide the problem people into a less entangled dynamic. This is intervening in the affairs without inserting ourselves directly in dirt, and so far it is working. Like Gaza or Venezuela, President Trump opens for negotiation, then wipes out the resistance.

Something everyone should get is that Trump already understands the Israel issue and has been a vocal opponent of 'forever wars' for 40 years. President Trump learned from Nixon, if a problem exists, just take it out. Every other president would have let the conflicts against ISIS, Venezuela, Gaza, Somali pirates, etc. linger past their term, exactly what Carter, Clinton, both Bushes, Obama, Biden and many others did. Trump consistently tries to avoid protracted war by using precise attacks, and he covers his downsides in advance β NGOs were defunded, the border was closed and Iranian capacity was killed to prevent a manufactured crisis of refugees or terror.
President Trump is actively, intentionally getting the job done without allowing Netanyahu or some other figure to twist our hand elsewhere.

An analysis of President Trump's policies shows he is the most restrictive president we have had regarding immigration since Calvin Coolidge. Over 90 countries are under an entry or visa restriction, over 1.6 million migrants have lost or are losing legal status, refugee programs and asylum options are severely limited, and millions are being discouraged from staying or applying to stay here.
βThe Trump admin's actions will lead to the largest restriction in legal immigrationβsetting aside 2020 under Trumpβsince the 1920s.β

Thuletide
Middle Eastern countries that had no involvement, killing and wounding civilians (no exact casualty toll, as of yet).
The official reporting so far says Iran, rather than directing its resources at a strong attack on Israel, decided to isolate itself by hitting every other Muslim in the region, then let their leader die.

This statement by President Trump does not contradict his military actions whatsoever.
Going into the Middle East, decades ago, was a mistake. We are already entrenched in it, after decades of varied involvement from investment to R&D to intel to immigrants to hostages and thensome. We are not in a position to unilaterally leave it anymore and we cannot immediately 'un-enter' the Middle East now, until it is on course to be a non-issue and is willing to cooperate on trade, counter-terrorism, and mass remigration.

President Trump followed that tweet by saying we must withdraw from the region slowly, carefully. That prospect is a long-term project that won't work with nations that can't cooperateβlike Iran. We cannot un-enter the region, so we must make it safe to leave without leaving a worse mess. Therein lies the purpose of President Trump's Board of Peace and numerous investment deals.

In other words, as this reply says, Trump actually intends to win and get the problems resolved. Trump does not try to prolong war, likewise he did not prolong the border flood the way other admins did. I can sympathise with anyone concerned about forever wars and zionist control, however it should be seen Trump has not yielded to the left or foreign interests in 10+ years, which has earned the trust of patriots.
