Foreign students and people in exchange programmes will no longer be allowed to stay indefinitely; they now face restricted durations. Visas proven unproductive or in bad practice will be revoked or rejected.

Colleges across the country report foreign student decline; in Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Mass and others, universities are receiving thousands fewer students due to Trump.

Many foreign—mostly asian; indian & chinese—students pursue degrees that take longer than 4 years. With Trump's planned limit, many won't graduate in time. If they don't, their status might be lost and their chances to stay are over.

There are 3.7 million immigrants in pending court cases waiting for adjudication; DHS, DOJ easing judge requirements will help remove this, thereby boosting deportation.
