President Trump has signed an executive order demanding arrested criminals in D.C. are held 'to the fullest extent possible', not released early, offered free bail or given chances to be arrested over and over again.

As a template for his anti-crime operation, President Trump has ordered the creation of a specialised defense unit to ‘make D.C. beautiful again’. His Housing Department will ensure compliance with the effort, and it will work to exict ‘vagrants, illegal aliens and any tenants who threaten the peace’.

New executive order directs all states to end cashless bail and other practices that limit the punishment of various criminals.
“As President, I will require ... incarcerating individuals who are known threats.” States & Cities that do not comply within 30 days will face funding punishment or worse.

Burning, attacking or desecrating the American flag with intent to insult American heritage, or history; or to incite violence and disorder, or harm American property will now be a crime. Immigrants may have their visa revoked, benefits cut or status ended if they offend the flag.

If you witness or hear of a foreigner bearing or expressing anti-American views, if you see a foreigner desecrate the American flag or any American monument, whether in person or on social media, report them. You may cause their removal.

In June, Trump said he could tolerate 500,000 Chinese students in the United States, provided China agrees to our terms. Today Trump has reiterated this, saying “600,000 Chinese could study here”.

So far every proposal to accept more immigrants (e.g. green card diplomas) has been a suggestion that was dropped or not serious; the administration has instead cut immigration each time. Pushing back on the idea is still good, even if it isn't going to happen, to establish anti-foreign rhetoric.

Trump says many provocative statements he doesn't intend to complete, so every remark shouldn't be taken absolutely literally unless there is a plan attached to it.

Trump's USCIS is putting over 55 million immigrants under review & has suspended legal status from over 1.1 million.

Trump's admin officially limits birthright citizenship, but needs a SCOTUS ruling on that and is still fighting in court for that. This is without mentioning all of the work in progress prison space, mounting city raids, mass hiring spree or dozens of pending legal cases. Why won't Tom tweet about that, or do anything helpful?

We have a very, very long way to go. But the state of this country came about over 60, or 130 if you count the first invasion in the 1840s-1920s, years. Trump's been in for shy seven months. This is called setting the stage, because we're going to need more than one term to fix 41 terms of problems.
