👉 Il s'agit de faux signaux du marché où la tendance à la baisse (ou a la hausse) d’un actif semble être à la hausse (ou a la baisse), mais ne se matérialisent pas réellement, ce qui conduit les acheteurs (ou les vendeurs) à se faire embarquer dans un traquenard.

👉 Cette technique utilisée par un groupe de traders "Whales", vise à manipuler le prix d’une cryptomonnaie. Le #Bulltrap consiste à acheter un gros volume de la même crypto au même moment, trompant le marché en lui faisant croire qu’une hausse des prix est imminente. En réaction, les autres traders vont acheter cette même crypto, accélérant la hausse de son prix. Lorsque le prix aura alors suffisamment augmenté, les "Baleines" qui ont mis en place ce traquenard vont alors vendre en masse la crypto, leur permettant de réaliser un bon profit. Ceci va aussi provoquer la chute du prix de la crypto laissant les autres traders avec leurs pertes.
