why that roguelike has the fame of being nightmarish

I said this a million times but Roguelikes are the ultimate game

• Don't occupy any space
• Runs on potato (thanks ASCII)
• Non-toxic community because they have a step learning curve
• Most of the famous ones have tons of content
• Difficult as fuck
• You can play for five minutes and leave it there till tomorrow
• Turn based, think about what to do next
