నాన్న నరసింహయ్యరు నలుగురు సోదరులు . .
ముగ్గురు అక్కలు . ఇంటికి పెద్దవారు కావటంతో కుటుంబ భారం మొత్తం ఆయనపైనే .
నాన్న , బాబాయి కలిసి కష్టపడ్డారు . స్వార్థం చూసుకోలేదు . మిగిలిన ఇద్దరు సోదరులను కనీసం చదివించాలన్న తపనతో ఇద్దరూ వ్యవసాయ పనులు చేశారు .
ఒక బాబాయి జీసీ సంక్షేమశాఖలో వార్డెన్ . మరో బాబాయి ఉన్నత పాఠశాలలో ఉపాధ్యాయుడు .
బాబాయి విస్సయ్య నన్ను తొమ్మిదో తరగతి నుంచి తాను పనిచేస్తున్న పశ్చిమగోదావరి జిల్లాకు తీసుకెళ్లారు . గుండుగొలను జిల్లా పరిషత్ ఉన్నత పాఠశాలలో చేర్చారు .
అదే నా జీవితం మలుపు తిరగటానికి దోహదపడింది . నేను ఇంగ్లీషు , లెక్కల్లో చాలా వెనుకబడ్డాను ఏం చేయాలి ? ఇదే అలోచన . రెండింటిపేనే దృష్టి పెట్టాను .
వాటిపై ఎక్కువ సాధన చేశాను . పదో తరగతి వచ్చే సరికి లెక్కల్లో మంచి పట్టు వచ్చింది.
1995లో పదో తరగతిలో నేను పాఠశాలలో అత్యధిక మార్కులు సాధించి మొదట నిలిచాను .
అక్కడ నుంచి పాలిటెక్నిక్ , బీటెక్ లో రాష్ట్రస్థాయిలో ప్రథమ ర్యాంకులు సాధించి ఎంటెక్ పూర్తిచేసి రైల్వేలో 2004లో ఉద్యోగంవచ్చింది .
అక్కడ శిక్షణలో ఉంటూనే 2004లో సివిల్స్ పరీక్షలు రాశాను. ప్రిలిమ్స్ , మెయిన్స్లో తక్కువ మార్కులతో అర్హత సాధించినా . .
ముఖాముఖిలో ఇబ్బంది పడాల్సి వచ్చింది . 2005లో మళ్లీ సివిల్స్ పరీక్షలకు హాజరయ్యారు .
గతంలో లోపాలను గుర్తింది సరిచేసుకుని ప్రిలిమ్స్ , మెయిన్స్లో మంచి మార్కులు వచ్చాయి . ముఖాముఖిలో మాత్రం కొంత ఇబ్బంది ఏర్పడింది .
దాంతో రాజస్థాన్ రాష్ట్ర ఐపీఎస్ అధికారిగా ఉద్యోగం వచ్చింది . ఎలాగూ ఐపీఎస్ వచ్చింది .
అక్కడ శిక్షణ కోసం వెళ్లాలి . రైల్వే ఉద్యోగానికి రాజీనామా చేశాను . ఐపీఎస్ శిక్షణలో ఉన్న సమయంలో ముఖాముఖిలో మెలకువలు సహచరుల ద్వారా తెలుసుకుని 2006లో జరిగిన సివిల్స్ పరీక్షల్లో జాతీయ స్థాయిలో మొదటి ర్యాంకు సాధించామ .
ఇలా 14 మే , 2007న ఐఏఎస్ సాధించాను . పదేళ్లు అప్పుడే గడిచిపోయింది .

అమ్మ ఏడ్చేసింది
నేను జాతీయ స్థాయిలో ఐఏఎస్ గా ఎంపికైన తర్వాత అప్పటి సీఎం
స్వర్గీయ శ్రీ Y S రాజశేఖరరెడ్డి గారి నుంచి పిలుపు వచ్చింది .
ఆయన ను కలవటానికి వెళ్లాను . అక్కడకు అమ్మ కూడా వచ్చారు .
నేను పోలీసు దుస్తుల్లో ఉన్నాను . గతంలో పోలీసు దుస్తుల్లో అమ్మ నన్ను ఎప్పుడూ చూడలేదు .
ఎదురుగా ఉన్నా గుర్తుపట్టలేదు . మా అబ్బాయి ఎక్కడ ? అంటూ అడుగుతూ ఉన్నారు .
ఒక్కసారి నన్ను చూసిన వెంటనే ఆనందంతో కన్నీళ్లు ఆపుకోలేకపోయారు .
ఇప్పటికీ నాకు ఆ క్షణాలు అలాగే గుర్తుండిపోయాయి .
వైఎస్ రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్డి నన్ను పిలిచి ఏంకావాలి అని అడిగితే . .
మారు మాట్లాడకుండా చినగొల్లపాలెం నుంచి మండలానికి వెళ్లటానికి వంతెన కావాలని అడిగాను .
అక్కడికక్కడే వంతెన మంజూరు చేశారు . రూ . 26 కోట్లతో దాన్ని కట్టారు . అప్పుడే మకు రోడ్డు మార్గం ఏర్పడింది . ఇలా అడగటం వెనుక ఒక కారణమే ఉంది .
ఇంటి నుంచే మొదలుకావాలి :
కన్న తల్లిదండ్రుల బాగోగులు చూసుకునే సంబంధం కోసం చూసి విశ్రాంత ఐఏఎస్ అధికారి మధుసూదనరావు కుమార్తె సిందూరను భాగస్వామిగా ఎంచుకున్నాను .
ఒక కొడుకు . వాడిపేరు వజ్రాక్ష్ .
పేరు పెట్టడం వెనుక ఒక ఆసక్తికరమైన అంశమే ఉంది . నా పేరులో ముత్యాలు ఉన్నాయి .
అందుకే వాడి పేరులో వజ్రాలు వచ్చేలా పేరు ఎంపిక చేశామని నవ్వుతూ . ఆంజనేయస్వామి పేరు వస్తుందని వజ్రాక్ట్ పేరును ఎంపిక చేశాం .
