A video showing locals giving a 100-car salute to Indian-American doctor Uma Madhusudhan, who works at South Windsor Hospital, has gone viral.

In this video, police vehicles, fire brigade trucks and private vehicles can be seen going past her house to honour the doctor for extraordinary service amid the current pandemic.

Dr Uma, who hails from Mysuru, can be seen here waving at the vehicles from her lawn.
