Trump has vowed his unequivocal support for Israel’s genocide, most recently calling for the United States to ethnically cleanse and annex Gaza. Today, we say enough. Last Friday, Barnard College expelled two pro-Palestinian protestors for their alleged disruption of the Columbia University class “History of Modern Israel” on January 21.
Students are staging an emergency sit-in in front of the Dean’s Office in Milbank Hall.

Last night, Department of Homeland Security agents detained a Palestinian student at Columbia University, following the student and his pregnant spouse into their building in Morningside Heights, in Columbia University housing. DHS agents abducted and detained Khalil without the demonstration of a warrant or officially filed charges. Agents told Mahmoud that the State Dept. had revoked his student visa., with the arresting agent making the claim that the US State Department had “revoked that too,” in reference to his green card.
At the time of this posting, Khalil is being held in ICE detention in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
