Driven by the desire for exotic travel experiences and an increasing reliance on aviation and luxury amenities, affluence has turned tourism into a carbon-inten- sive consumption category. Global demand for tourism is outstrip- ping the decarbonization of tourism operations, and, as a result, is accelerating global carbon emissions. At the same time, at least 15% of global tourism-related emissions are currently under no binding reduction target as emissions of international aviation and bunker shipping are excluded from the Paris Agreement. In addition, the United States, the most significant source of tourism emissions, does not support the Agreement.

Are such climate activists a problem? Let we check the facts! Without translating all in English, luxury brands and rich people are the worse!, just check links we shared on point 2, 8-13, .... but there are more too.

Ist da jetzt ein Problem? Nein! Denn:
8) Demanding more transparency and responsibility
in the watch and jewellery sector https://perma.cc/96F2-24NN
9) The fashion industry as a whole is a big polluter https://perma.cc/L9KQ-E8C7
10) Despite strong commercial drivers for greater sustainability, luxury brands have been slow to respond https://perma.cc/PJ8U-4KUJ
11) ... with the fashion industry being ‘‘the second largest cause of pollution worldwide’’ https://perma.cc/72L4-3GDT
12) ... while luxury giants Hermès, Fendi, Prada and Louis Vuitton among the worst rated brands in 2021 https://perma.cc/YX9H-JFLY
13) The fashion industry is one of the largest markets for illegal wildlife products https://perma.cc/GY87-NDCM
14) .... many more
This is the big difference between Pavel Durov and all other rich people! "Some people suggested I should have instead bought a house or a jet. But I prefer to stay focused on my work, without “owning” anything" while other rich people just pollute our planet, etc. @ClimateChangeTelegram

To publish climate change videos as private videos in 2023 makes no sense at all! Here the example made by Breakthrough. So if you want to change something, stop to publish videos as private.

"Rich people are paying more taxes so they are doing something for our planet"
NOPE:
1) Swiss is not using all such money to protect our planet!
2) More money they earn, more they go to places where they need to pay less taxes, as you can see exactly in this picture (green). Red are places where you need to pay much more than average.
3) They pay taxes (if they pay that ...) just because they need to pay that!

So in conclusion: Rich people = more taxes != climate protection
