UAE strongly condemns Israeli attacks on Lebanon

The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the attacks launched by Israel on several areas in Lebanon and expressed its concern about the continued escalation and its repercussions on security and stability in the region.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for concerted international efforts to stop the attacks and prevent further bloodshed, and for civilians to enjoy full protection under international law and international treaties.

The Ministry stressed the UAE's full solidarity with the Lebanese government and its support during this critical phase for brotherly Lebanon, affirming its unwavering commitment to supporting Lebanon's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The Ministry also reiterated the UAE's firm stance against violence, escalation, and reckless actions and reactions that disregard the laws governing relations between states and their sovereignty, which complicate the situation and increase the risks of instability. It stressed the need to resolve disputes through diplomatic means, away from the language of confrontation and escalation.
