The driver continued for several miles after having their tires blown out by a spike strip, then refused to get out of the car after officers shot pepper balls in the car and broke windows with a baton.

A driver had to be pulled out of her SUV after refusing to come out when police disabled the vehicle following a pursuit that began in Orange County and spanned several cities in Los Angeles County.

The suspect was seen driving on the sidewalk and as they got back on the street, they collided with a mail truck.
