One mistake by Konfederacja. We did not attack the opposition for supporting Israel. Not making noise at leadership level about banning Israel from European sporting and cultural events. Supporting Israel is very unpopular by all segments of Polish society, especially after they banned water, food, and medicine from Gaza

Meet the new boss, the Tusk led liberal coalition government. Worse than old boss, but thankfully there are several factors to mitigate damage they can do to nation.
Leftist Lewica will lose about 10-15 of their seats, so their influence won't be significant.
Duda is President until 2025 and can veto everything and most of the constitutional judges are pro PiS.
Tusk ran on abortion issue, but it'll probably be struck down by constitutional court before it even gets to Duda as a judgement was made already in 2011 or something that abortion for financial reasons was unconstitutional.
The same sex partnerships probably won't get through either because PSL opposes them and without those votes it isn't a majority because PiS and Konfa will obviously also vote against. Gay marriage is also unconstitutional as Polish constitution defines marriage as a union of a man and woman.
As for Konfa the disappointing result will force some needed changes to make party sharper and stronger. Being in opposition to liberal gov will make them more appealing in next election then in opposition to conservative gov.
The liberal coalition is united and had high turnout through emotional appeal, based entirely on the anti PiS narrative. As incumbents they will not have this power next time.
As for migrants we still have several years before significant amounts start getting citizenship and wielding political power. The next election this will be a more critical issue.
